Viddler is a video service where users can share videos. The similarity to YouTube and other video sharing services ends here. Viddler gives the ability to tag and comment the video making it easier to index and search videos.

- Allows you to upload and share videos. The size limit is a whooping 500 MB compared to 100 MB on other sites.

The service and the website is impressive. It is a step forward in the search arena and Viddler helps in making videos more searchable therefore making them more usable. The search feature needs improvement but I’m sure it will get there. I think in the near future all the services would have this option and that is where Viddler has succeeded.
Viddler for businesses
Viddler also has a service for businesses where they can upload the videos and share them by embedding the supplied code. The service is called “B2B Viddler”. The main features are
- Customized branding. Viddler provides full control to the video owners and the business user can have their own branding on the videos.
- Viddler also provides an API which makes publishing easier for the business users.
- Revenue generation. You can have advertisements on the videos. Viddler has their own advertising system called Adworks using which you can add advertisement to the videos and earn revenue on a profit sharing basis with Viddler.
